Have a PSP save?

The PSP encrypts saves itself, underneath whatever the game does. Unwrap that layer first — then the tools below, or the full patcher, can read what is inside. You will need the save’s PARAM.SFO as well as the file itself.

Nothing matches that.

These are the games whose patch has been run against a real save and checked byte-for-byte against a reference decrypter. More exist — the full patcher reaches every patch in the database, with the code list exposed.

Built on apollo-lib compiled to WebAssembly by apollo-patcher, with patches and Python helper modules from apollo-patches. Reference decrypters and sample saves from save-decrypters. Python scripts run on MicroPython, crypto and compression by mbedTLS and zlib.

Straight off a PSP?

The console encrypts saves under a per-game key, below anything this patch does. Add the save folder’s PARAM.SFO and that layer is taken off before the patch runs, and put back after.
